So we're headed to Florida! Yeah! This is the first family vacation (minus Shawn) my parents, sisters and I have taken in years. I'm very excited. What's even more exciting is that we'll be celebrating Tregan's 3rd birthday on the beach...which he is very excited for. All he has been talking about lately is his party on the beach! So next post will hopefully have some great pictures from our trip! Until then...

Found you while I was enjoying a
'cup of tea with friends.'
The things that are so important to some couples fade in comparison to the principles of a military family. I see with my daughter and her husband - both Army - that making the most of the moments you have together is the key to making deployment work. The worry, the loneliness, and the hardships are all still there during deployment, but you all still manage to make it work because you treasure so much the times spent as family.
Have a wonderful vacation - and Happy Birthday to Tregan!
